ExportFM 2.0 allows you to manipulate images within a FileMaker Pro database and export those images – as well as sounds, movies, and text – as documents in their original file formats. Types supported are GIF, JPEG, PICT, BMP, sound, text, and on Mac, styled text. ExportFM 2.0 handles any image or media type when stored by reference, as well as most of the types that FileMaker can store directly in container fields.

When modifying images, ExportFM 2.0 can crop, resize, adjust bit depth, and rotate images, as well as convert them to JPEG format. With these functions, you can make thumbnails suitable for web pages, or convert FileMaker report previews to JPEG format for email, or posting on a web site.

Several other functions give you information about image dimensions, image formats, and other details. ExportFM 2.0 provides many flexible options for dynamically controlling the destination folder of exported files, including both fixed and relative locations. In addition, ExportFM 2.0 can move, rename, copy, delete, and open any file – all controlled by your database.
