IBM IMS High Availability Large Database (HALDB) Conversion and Maintenance Aid provides the utilities and aids needed to analyze, model, and convert existing IMS database structures (for both Versions 7 and 8) to a HALDB format easily and efficiently with minimal manual intervention.
A new utility aid (Initial Load Assist) is provided that assists applications with (PROCOPT=L) loading HALDB databases. In addition, the tool provides a Maintenance Aid that supports split partitions, DBRC functions for HALDB, creation of backup and recovery JCL, and generation of reorganization utilities. |
