The JReport
Designer is a Web-based interactive design environment for
building and testing sophisticated reports. An intuitive Design
Wizard makes it easy for you to create tables, crosstabs,
sub-reports, charts and graphs. JReport Designer comes equipped
with built-in report templates, and allows for customization
of existing templates and creation of new templates.
JReport Designer’s visual environment provides a distinct
advantage by allowing you to view reports as they are being
developed. And, a Report Inspector enables you to edit all
report objects and properties with just a single mouse click.
You can import full SQL statements, or to simplify building
SQL queries, you can use JReport Designer’s GUI wizard.
JReport Designer provides you with multiple delivery and
output options, including HTML, DHTML, XML, PDF, Excel and
Email. Additionally, you can dynamically modify report views
from any Web browser using drag and drop, sorting, grouping
and drill down, up, and across capabilities.
Reports created in JReport Designer are deployed to the
JReport Enterprise Server for processing or scheduling.
