The SQL Plugin for Filemaker Pro, that was first released in 1997, enables Filemaker Pro to communicate transparantly with SQL backend databases.

With the SQL Plugin you can connect to ODBC and JDBC datasources on Windows and Macintosh from within Filemaker Pro. As there are ODBC and/or JDBC drivers available for all major databases this enables you to connect Filemaker Pro to nearly all existing databases.
