Automation Tool for DB2 z/OS allows database administrators to automate database maintenance by specifying sets of database objects and conditions to monitor, then launching one or a series of utilities as jobs that execute according to specified parameters. By combining object profiles and utility option profiles into job profiles, DBAs can keep tight control over database conditions and the utilities needed to correct them with minimal personal intervention.
