To empower you to collect your own data from many sources using a single tool, IBM offers IMS Audit Management Expert. IMS Audit Management Expert provides the ability to collect and correlate data access information from a variety of IMS resources.
The information is collected primarily from the IMS logs and SMF and is stored in a DB2 repository that can be viewed by means of a GUI. Working with the tools easy-to-use auditor-friendly Reporting/Analysis interface, auditors can view and analyze information that has been collected into the Audit Management Expert repository audit log tables.
A separate administration user interface is used for configuring the data query portion of the product. IMS Audit Management Expert separates the roles of auditing and database administration, freeing up valuable resources while enabling you to streamline compliance efforts in the ever-changing world of regulations.
