users can benefit from the functionality made available
in the OLAP Manager Add-In Kit and the Data Transformation
Services (DTS) Task Kit 1. The Add-In Kit for OLAP Manager
provides functionality that enables you to perform tasks
that previously required custom programming using Decision
Support Objects (DSO).
This kit includes the following
add-ins: Archiving and restoring databases. Archives and
restores OLAP Services databases from within the OLAP Manager.
This utility also enables databases to be archived from
one server and restored to another. Calculated Members Manager.
Manages calculated members in virtual cubes. Copying and
pasting objects. Uses copying and pasting functionality
to more easily manage objects within the OLAP Manager tree
view (metadata movement).
