The Easysoft
ODBC-Oracle Driver provides ODBC 3.5 access to Oracle databases
for ODBC compatible applications running on Windows, Linux
and major Unix platforms.
Oracle 8 (version 8.1.7 or higher) and Oracle 9 (any version)
databases are supported. Data can be hosted locally or on
any remote server which is accessible using the Net8 protocol.
For those client platforms where Net8 is unsuitable or
not available, clients can connect to the Easysoft ODBC-Oracle
Driver on the database server using the Easysoft ODBC-ODBC
Bridge(see Scenario 3: Access to a remote Oracle database
without Net8).
