Fast Unload provides accelerated access to DB2 data, and many special options for unloading exactly the data you want, based on any valid SELECT statement. You can process multiple SELECT statements in one pass of the data.
For flexibility, Fast Unload offers multiple input and output formats, and supports data type and field-length conversions. Fast Unload supports DB2 V6 features, including 8K/16K page sizes for all tablespace types, and unloading from a LOB tablespace using SQL-access.
